The fastest growing homeless segment in our nation is women with young children. Women who find themselves homeless are in crisis. Their primary concern is finding food, shelter and clothing for themselves and their children.
Clare House is trying to break the cycle of poverty by offering life skills classes to residents. Women staying at Clare House learn budgeting skills & employment readiness.
With the help of generous volunteers and donors Clare House provides meals, services, support and more – 365 days a year. During FY 2021 25,395 meals were served thanks to the generosity of service groups and donors.
During fiscal year 2021, 161 moms and kids stayed a total of 8,571 bed nights at Clare House.
For over 25 years you and your neighbors have stepped up to provide essential contributions in order to serve the women and children at Clare House. Please consider helping again today.
