Refugee Assistance and Immigration Services Girls

A strong community is key to living in the Alaskan extremes. The work of Catholic Social Services (CSS) would not be possible without the deep generosity of the Anchorage community. We have many ways for you to support CSS in providing help for the homeless, hunger relief, and hope during times of crisis.

Give Money

Every family that walks through our door needs your help. It only takes $20 to provide a guest with a warm night at Brother Francis Shelter; $100 will provide case management for that guest. A gift of $1,000 provides St. Francis House Food Pantry with one week’s worth of produce, feeding approximately 250 families.

Give Time

We need your time and your talent! Our programs would not be the same without the help of dedicated volunteers.

Give Goods

Program Wish Lists are just another way to help our neighbors in need. While we make every attempt to provide new items to the families and individuals we serve, gently-used gifts are also greatly appreciated. You can also support Catholic Social Services through Amazon Smile. Amazon will donate 0.5% of your total purchase directly to CSS. Visit Amazon Smile and be sure to search for Catholic Social Services.

Advocate

With our voices united, we can advocate for vulnerable and in-need Alaskans, ensuring that we continue to provide help and create hope, offer basic safety net services, and assure all Alaskans are treated with dignity and respect.

Support Our Efforts

Join Us at an Event

We need volunteers to help organize and staff our engagement and fundraising events. Examples include Charity Ball, our signature spring gala, Plein Air, a benefit put on by Anchorage artists, and tabling events where you have the opportunity to talk with people about CSS and help us get more supporters. We need your time and energy!
