3rd Avenue Resource & Navigation Center is a place for adults experiencing homelessness to access a full range of services, from short-term needs like a shower or a phone charge, to long-term engagement like case management and employment support. Individuals can also receive a housing needs assessment through the Coordinated Entry program at 3RNC, the first step for housing. Along with CSS staff, other partner service providers work alongside us and share the facility, so a client at the center can meet with case managers, housing coordinators, and employment specialists all in one location.

In FY23, 3rd Avenue Resource & Navigation Center served 1,503 individuals, with an average of 69 people each day.

To apply for the Basic Housing Assistance Program for rent/utility relief: Complete the form below, each month on the second Thursday of the month. All applicants will be notified regarding the status of their application on the following Tuesday. Once the form is submitted it will undergo a random selection process.

To access services at 3rd Avenue Resource & Navigation Center, you must be:

  • At least 18 years old
  • Currently experiencing homelessness
  • Not a danger to yourself or others

3rd Avenue Resource & Navigation Center provides:

  • Private showers
  • Phone charging
  • Computer access/wifi
  • Navigators assisting with coordinated entry
  • Variety of service providers assisting with housing, employment, substance treatment, etc.
  • Transportation to and from the resource center
