St. Francis House Food Pantry is one of the largest food pantries in the state of Alaska, providing more than 100 families with an emergency supply of food daily at no cost to clients.
As part of the pantry’s impending move, SFH is only accepting food donations at this time. Donations for specific programs should be taken directly to each program.

Food Items Needed
- Oatmeal/Cereal
- Individually packaged snacks (granola bars, chips, etc.)
- Soups and ready-made meals
- Pasta & rice
- Dry & canned proteins
- Canned fruits and vegetables
- Fresh fruits and vegetables
- Shelf-stable milk
*Unfortunately, we cannot accept any opened food items or at-home processed fish/game.*
Donations are accepted Monday-Thursday, 1PM to 4PM and Fridays, 9AM to 4PM at Saint Francis House Food Pantry.
To avoid traffic congestion during pantry distribution hours, you may want to drop off donations after 1:00pm or anytime on Friday.
