Each time we welcome a guest into one of our shelters or a family moves into permanent housing, they need things like blankets, towels, and other household goods. Donation drives are one of the best ways to collect items that help our clients live comfortably.

Most Requested Items

Wondering what you should collect for a donation drive? Our clients’ needs change throughout the year, but some of our more frequently requested items include non-perishable foods, bedding and pillows, toiletries, cleaning supplies, kitchen and cooking gear, and essential warm weather clothing.

To get an updated list of needed items and coordinate with our team, please contact Katie Gordon at kgordon@cssalaska.org or by calling 907-222-7340.
