We are excited to announce that the Alaska Office for Refugees will be working with the UAA Center for Human Development to offer a 6 part ECHO series from October 2023 – March 2024. The Refugee Mental Health ECHO is a virtual learning network intended increase the knowledge and skills of clinical providers working with forcibly relocated populations (e.g. refugees, humanitarian parolees). Details and how to register can be found in the attachment.
The trainings are free and CEs will be provided. While all professionals are welcome to join, the Refugee Mental Health ECHO is intended for LPCs, Psychologists, Social Workers, and other clinical providers who are working with or interested in providing services to refugees.
