Have a car, truck, boat, or RV you no longer need? You can put it to work for the community by donating it to Catholic Social Services through CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services).

CARS is a nationally recognized vehicle donation program that connects donors with nonprofits nationwide. They handle the entire process: free towing, title transfer, and sale — so you don’t have to deal with the hassle of selling privately or negotiating a trade-in.

Here’s how it works: When you donate through our CARS page, your vehicle is picked up at no cost to you, sold through their network of vendors, and the proceeds are directed to Catholic Social Services to fund our programs and services here in Alaska.

What you get out of it:

  • No out-of-pocket cost — towing is free
  • A tax receipt for your records
  • Your donation may be tax-deductible (consult your tax advisor for specifics)
  • The satisfaction of knowing your old vehicle is funding real help in your community

CARS accepts cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats, RVs, trailers, and more — running or not. In Alaska, they service the Anchorage and Fairbanks areas within a 50-mile radius.
