Charlie Elder House is voluntary, long-term residence for homeless teenage boys ages 12 through 19. Boys learn to live independently, achieve academic success, maintain positive relationships, and contribute to the community. The house provides a therapeutic environment, case management services and counseling services in cooperation with Denali Family Services. Below you will find items the program is currently in need of.
When donating please remember donations should be new or gently used. These items will not only support those in need but also empower them. Thank you!

- T-shirts (sizes XL & 2XL)
- New socks
- New boxer shorts (sizes M, L & 2XL)
- Men’s white tank tops (sizes M-3XL)
- Pajama pants (sizes XL, 2XL, 3XL)
- Slippers (sizes up to 13)
- Winter hats
- Winter gloves
Financial donations are also needed to support the Charlie Elder House “Graduation Fund”. These donations are used to purchase items such as caps, gowns, yearbooks, senior pictures, graduation invitations, etc. When donating, please select “Charlie Elder House” under “Use My Donation To Support”, and note “Graduation Fund” in the special instructions.
Donations are accepted 10am-11am on Mondays and 3pm-4pm on Thursdays.
