About the Event

In the last two years, Alaska has experienced a historic increase in refugees and other new arrivals resettling in the state, largely driven by our welcome of many Afghans and Ukrainians.

The landscape of resettlement across Alaska has changed drastically: we have grown, we have learned, and we have built a network of providers ready to support and welcome Alaska’s new arrivals.

In response to this change, Alaska Office for Refugees is hosting the state’s first-ever resettlement conference. Join us to connect with the resettlement network across the state, learn from refugee voices, and discuss challenges and solutions to “Building Belonging” for our newest neighbors.

When: April 24th & 25th 2024

Where: Coast Inn at Lake Hood, 3450 Aviation Ave, Anchorage, AK 99502

Early bird registration (January 10th – March 15th): $125
